MIDN 1/C Paul
Hanna experienced many great adventures while serving with
VFA-2 during his summer cruise. He began training in Lemoore, CA then flew
to Fallon, NV for additional pre-deployment training with the wing. MIDN Hanna
flew numerous times and made the most of his summer cruise. He also enjoyed the
liberty of a lifetime, traveling up and down the west coast. The squadron
members welcomed him and ensured that he was very familiar with all aspects of
the aviation community.

MIDN 2/C Lagesse and MIDN 2/C Hannum were on the USS Winston S. Churchill for 4 weeks. The guy in a cast was from the division they were following around and during SCAT drills got his hand smashed in a knife edge. They went to emergency sea and anchor detail to get him to the hospital. Also pictured is an un-rep and MIDNs Lagesse and Hannum on the bridge wing.
