The 27 April 2004 marked the change in leadership within the Virginia Tech NROTC Battalion with the change of command. MIDN 1/C Stashwick handed over the battalion to MIDN 2/C Dittig. Rising juniors and seniors will now take over more challenging leadership roles within the NROTC unit. It also marks the end of the graduating seniors' time as midshipmen and the beginning of their careers as officers in the Navy and Marine Corps. Congratulations to the new chain of command.
