02 May 2006 marked a change in leadership within the Virginia Tech NROTC Battalion with the change of command. MIDN 1/C Christensen handed over the battalion to MIDN 2/C Snell. Alpha company Leadership was transferred from MIDN 1/C Roberson to MIDN 2/C Meyers. MIDN 1/C Marta transferred leadership of Bravo Company to MIDN 2/C Lindahl.  Charlie company was transferred to MIDN 2/C Jackson from MIDN 1/C Himes. Raiders transferred from MIDN 2/C Lavine to MIDN 2/C Archut. Rising juniors and seniors will now take over more challenging leadership roles within the NROTC unit. It also marks the end of the graduating seniors' time as midshipmen and the beginning of their careers as officers in the Navy and Marine Corps. Congratulations to the new chain of command.
