Summer Commissioning 2004 |
Virginia Tech Naval ROTC commissioned four new Ensigns this summer. ENS Nylen on 18 June 2004, ENS Sansbury on 28 June 2004, and ENS Bartolf and O'Heney on 14 August 2004. Captain James S. Snyder, Commanding Officer Virginia Tech Naval ROTC, and Commander Jeffrey S. Beeby, Executive Officer Virginia Tech Naval ROTC, presided over the ceremonies. Every new officer must be administered the oath of office by an active duty or retired military officer.
