On Friday November 4, two Virginia Tech alumni, LT Dan Kahle '97 and ENS Stephen Lovelace '03, flew a Navy T-44 from Corpus Christi NAS to Blacksburg for the weekend. Naval Air Society met them at the airport and had a quick tour of the aircraft and its systems. LT Kahle is a P-3 pilot currently serving as a T-44 Instructor. ENS Lovelace is a student Naval Aviator at primary flight training in Corpus Christi. He will earn his wings in January and then head to Jacksonville NAS to train in P-3s.
